About Cris Anthony Ortaliz Bondoc

Cris Anthony Ortaliz Bondoc, son of Clarita Ortaliz was born in the City of Makati, Philippines.  His love for photography was cultivated when he bought his first bridge camera - a Fujifilm FinePix S4000 on 2011. Somehow, he did not get the actual result he wanted so, he thought that he should step up by buying a DSLR.  Thanks to an Indian friend, he bought his first DSLR camera, a Nikon D3100 the same year on installment basis.  He honed his skill using that camera but in the year 2012, that same camera was stolen from his room in Doha, Qatar.  That was the day he thought he would never have the chance to go back into photography again as the cost of an entry level DSLR is very expensive at that time.  Fortunately, since he is a member of a group in Doha, Qatar - NRS - NIkon Rebel Shooters, the leader of the group sold to him his 2nd DSLR - a Nikon D200.  This has given him a more creative approach to photography.  With the help of his peers, he became engrossed with photography and studied works of pro-photographers.  He is influenced by Mr. Ben Long as this was the first tutorial video on photography he has seen.  Cris has now dived into the realms of photography.  He continues taking photograph when time permits him.  He presently lives in Dubai, UAE together with his eldest daughter who also supports him by being a MUA for his shoots.  Cris works with a moving company until this day.
